Ingredients fried green tomatoes

3 medium green tomatoes
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 beaten eggs
3/4 fine bread crumbs
1/4 cup cooking oil

Cut tomatoes into 1" slices. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Dip slices in milk, then flour, then eggs, then bread crumbs.
Before frying, its best to put the coated tomato slices in the freezer for 2 hours. The coating will stay on better. Fry the slices in hot oil over med heat 8-10 mins each side or until brown.
Season with salt and pepper and serve.
