Ingredients vickys creamy garlic mushrooms gluten dairy egg soy nut free
2 tsp olive oil
450 grams white mushrooms sliced or button mushrooms halved
3 clove garlic finely chopped or add to taste
4 tbsp cream cheese from my free-from link below
2 tsp finely chopped parsley basil or tarragon
salt & pepper

Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat and add the sliced mushrooms and garlic
Cook until the mushrooms brown and release their liquid. If no liquid comes out add 2 tablespoons of water, vegetable stock or milk of choice
Turn the heat down to medium low then add the cream cheese, chopped herbs and salt & pepper, stirring until a sauce forms. Don't turn the heat up too high or the sauce will split. Just heat it through
Serve over toast, garlic bread, chicken, pork, steak or pasta
