seafoam icing

Ingredients seafoam icing


Icing
2 large egg whites
1 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
1 tsp salt
5 tbsp cold water
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tbsp vanilla extract

how to make seafoam icing


Put all ingredients into top bowl of a double boiler (except vanilla)


beat with electric mixer on low until well blended


turn mixer on high and beat until mixture starts to form peaks ( it will turn almost white)


remove from heat and add vanilla mix until its thick enough to be spread onto cake
