Ingredients sausage gravy for biscuits n gravy


seasoning
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
liquid
3 cup milk
1 cup water
meat
2 1/2 lb Pork Sausage
thickening
2/3 cup flour
flavoring
1 medium onion chopped

how to make sausage gravy for biscuits n gravy


Make biscuits first. Then chop onion.


Brown sausage and add onions in ex-large skillet or 6 quart kettle.


Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder as sausage browns.


Pour or sprinkle flour evenly covering top of sausage, then stir flour in letting flour brown a little. There will be some sticking. No need to panic. Keep stirring while scraping bottom of pan.


Pour in milk and water while stirring constantly.


Bring gravy to a rolling boil while stirring. Once gravy boils good, turn burner to low or off. Gravy is ready to serve!
