Ingredients my gingered garlic chicken %F0%9F%98%81


2 tbsp Olive oil
2 Chicken Breats
2 cloves crushed Garlic
1 inch piece fresh Ginger grated
1/2 large Onion
1/2 cup boiling water
1 chicken stock cube or bouillon
1 grated Carrot
MARINADE:
1 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Dark Soya sauce
1 tbsp Granulated Suger
1/4 tsp white Pepper
pinch Salt
1 tsp Lemon juice
1/4 tsp five Spice
1 tsp Corn Flour / Starch

Marinade ingredients


Add all the marinade ingredients together in a bowl. Cut the chicken into thick pieces and add them to the bowl. Make sure chicken pieces are all coated, cover and leave in the fridge for about 2 hours, longer if you can.


Peel and chop or grate the ginger and the garlic cover and put aside until later.


Mix water with chicken stock, stir and mix until its dissolved


Cut up half the onion into small pieces.


Grate the carrot very thin longways


Heat up the oil and add the onions fry for about 20 secounds, then add the garlic and ginger


Add the chicken but leave the juice in the bowl.


Add the carrots and cook until chicken is cooked through, about 10 mins, stirring continuously.


Add the chicken stock and bring to the boil. Boil for 1 minute stirring.


Add the marinade liquid to it and stir. Turn down and it should be thickened.


Add to a serving dish and serve with Rice or Noodles.
