Ingredients homemade brown gravy
1 1/4 cup bacon grease
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup warm water
1 cup favorite stock
how to make homemade brown gravy
preheat cast iron frying pan, 1/4 heat.
Add bacon grease to hot pan.
Sprinkle in flour, and workout all the lumps
Begin to add warm water. Caution, gravy will thicken quickly.
Use water, flower, and stock to increase the amount of gravy.
When you reach the amount of gravy you want, add flour to thicken. Job complete.
